The Moscow based artist was born into a shifting and critical time for Russia and her inspiration for this record comes from the Izhevsk (sometimes referred to as "the capital of Russian electronic music") sound of the 80s, including groups like Stuk Bambuka V XI Chasov (Bamboo Crash at 11AM) and Samtsy Dronta. The movement in Russian experimental music is especially inspiring, with acts likes Valery Chkalov, Sergey Kuryokhin and Pop Mechanica; in general, the late-Soviet period was very inspiring with all its figures in music, cinema, their energy and their approach towards life and art. Music featured includes David Cunningham, Dopplereffekt, Simon Fisher Turner, Jonny Oso and Glue by Bicep, and simply told us "This mix is designed to prepare you for winter”

Chris reports on this month's shows: On September 30th 2017 I played a 4h set at the beautiful Spazio 900 in Roma. It was part of a beautiful Italian weekend that had started with a super-fun night at Dudeclub Milan on Friday. There are nights when just everything flows together amazingly well. I had some new tracks that somehow fit into the vibe of that night so well, that it made it even more special to play at this amazing venue, where I have spent already quite a few good nights. Thats why I wanted to share this set with You all. Some of you might have noticed, that not only am I using my new Native Instruments Maschine MK3, I also changed the way I play a little bit. Not so much musically, but technically, with more dynamics, resulting in a different vibe. Well, maybe you will notice but even if You do not, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed playing. This 2 hours is the second & third hour of the set, in my opinion one of the best sets that I ever got to play there. Italia is amazing and I thank you all for the constant love and passion that I get to experience there. Grazie Mille!
