Genepool are a Father and son Live psytrance act from Ireland, they have been playing music together for over 25 years, they are both Drummers, Shane has played drums in a selection of bands from the late seventies all the way up to present, Jherek has played drums with various bands through the last 25 years, their influences come from psychedelic rock bands such as Hawkwind, Gong, Steve hillage, Pink floyd
Jherek discovered Psychedelic trance in the mid nineties and introduced his dad to the music, he fell in love with it and together in 2005 they decided to start making their own style of Percussive night time psytrance using their knowledge of drumming and percussion, We all come from the GENEPOOL and we will all return
