  • This music is the S#!T

I always listen to electronic music, but its only when I'm wacked I remember/re-realise the elements of it that attracted me in the first place.

You always pick the best stuff Spring. Brings me right back to when I was a young lad, too young to go out, and living for Saturday night dance music on 2fm.

Though it used to be 9pm till 12 then. Why does the very same song always sound better on saturday night radio?

Just so this isn't a complete waste of a thread I'll ask a fairly (can't think of the word) question. What kinds of music is usually played on the saturday night show (saturday sessions?) Genres like. I know there is obviously more than one style, but the majority of stuff seems too hard to be trance and doesn't have enough hoover sounds to be hard house imo.

Whatever it is I love it (and have always loved it) and where can I hear it for myself?

Firstly: things ALWAYS sound better on FM radio cos' of all the fancy Processing gear used to BEEF IT UP!! (google: orban optimod)

The tunes? well, it's like you say - if the tune has a something special about it, no matter what genre it is, you know you just gotta play it innit!

You can get away with stuff on the radio that you cannot in a club, but you need that REASON TO TURN IT UP i think.. you know, like when a tune locks in in a club and the crowd roars or chants!!

Genre's come & go, but good tunes trancend that. I hate having to resort to "just another one of THOSE tunes", but on slow weeks, you can spot them - they are the ones that pass time and nothing else..

If it sounds good - play it. I like that philosophy, I might just have to nick it!

I presume them radio enhancers are ridiculously expensive?
