Well tim you were right..... the Ifail

My mate has one and it froze, and she always had problems anyway linking up off a different computer, but it froze anyway and she had to get apple to help her fix it, then they told her to delete Itunes off her mac and put in the latest version. so in turn, the iphone crashed and then crashed the laptop.

Moral of the story.......... Buy a nokia 3210 and dont put Mac leapord on an older macBook!

Lol iFail.. It seems all the feedback on the new 3g iFail is it is terrible.. lots of funny bugs and freezes, and lots of change-your-everything-else to get it happy..

TBH, changing other stuff like your computer or software rarely makes a difference unless You are told specificly: "..your [new gear] needs a(n) [upgraded other thing you own] to enable [new feature] because [old version of thing you already own] didn't support [new cool thing you want] when it was released, because [new cool thing you want] didn't exist back then..."

Then you can submit to the round of upgrades to prove a point..

i KNOW it all sounds plausable, but it is a complete lie, and is ENTIRELY to get you to upgrade and spend more money..

For example.. I needed to advance the version of OS-X on a mac here for some stupid reason a couple of years ago, but the new (required) version of OSX didn't support the old mac hardware i had (motorola chip, g4, PCI) 'cos the old mac didn't come with a USB2 port on board. Now, i had a card in there with USB2 ports, and it worked fine, but NEW OSX refused to install because the USB wasn't onboard the mac when i bought it.. (well, i pulled it out of a skip actually..) So what were my options? I'll tell you - buy a 2nd-hand reconditioned mac that had USB, or go to the OhYou shop and buy NEW mac. Now, i HATE macs, so i refuse to pay for a new one just to get the same but slightly faster, so i searched the web (as you do) found a lot about this "force you to buy new shit to get stuff working" crap apple were doing, and ended up HACKING OSX into installing, with the help of some people who don't like apple either! It was surprisingly easy, and has worked without a hitch since..

So, APPLE LIED. There. i said it. THEY LIED TO GET ME TO BUY A NEW COMPUTER!

Have you seen PIRATES OF SILICON VALLEY? Just see it. at the end, Micro$oft rip off GEM by Xerox just like Apple did for the Mac to make Windows, and Apple get all pissed off and stuff.. But, they GOT THEIR OWN BACK by stealing Micro$oft's idea about bloating and breaking stuff that already works to get you to spend more money!!!

Ok, i'm all for bigger & better toys, but not when they don't fu*king work, and by the time they DO work, the new one will be out and will be twice as cool..
