WTF!! 2fm boss John Clarke to step down!! Don't know about you but im shocked at this,thought there was a good 5 years left in him?
or is there something funny going on behind the scenes at 2fm?
who is going to be the next boss??

Yes, highly emotional moments at meeting yesterday.. John Explained to us that he had asked his contract NOT be renewed in January 2010, and that a new boss was to be sought immediatly to oversee the blah blah etc. whatever..

In fairness, JC has been the boss for 11 years - and has managed to keep things on an even keel while around us new stations appeared almost monthly, all attacking our audience and stealing our ideas..

I have been in Radio since 1983, and have been mostly dissapointed by the people i have met, JC was NOT one of the fakers - he is one of the people who actually does stuff, and i'm sad he is stepping down, but glad he will be staying on in RTE as a producer & presenter..

So, a new head is to come.. And the job will be advertised in the next 3 weeks.. It will be MOST interesting to see who applies, as the entire Radio Industry in the UK & Ireland is TOTALLY fuc*ed, so there should be a queue out the door of montrose of people willing to spill their guts about what they would do to make the place rock..

I, of COARSE will be in that queue, with (i am told) a 50% chance of getting arrested and sent to guantanamo bay before i even get to the door - but hey, i'm used to that.

I can't wait to see their faces when i deliver my AWESOME plan for the all-new 2FM.

(HINT: it will revolve around firearms and boobies - EVERYBODY loves bewbs and guns - show me the fuc*er that doesn't, and i'll show you a corpse..)
