OK, so we are about 50% of the way into fixing the mess here..
* mrspring.net has moved to a server located in Ireland, after the bullsh!t with bizland inc. of recent months, mrspring.info (this board and wiki) remain on a shared server in the states for now.
* majority of content in PLAYER THING is now back online, plus some new stuff to come over the next few weeks, and the RADIOMIXES have been brought up to date, so enjoy the clutter-free mixes we broadcast on saturdays at your leisure, and you are welcome to add stations or streams you find on the internet.. Alot of files were lost in the move, but they were mostly outtakes and such, and weren't that popular..
* radioshows are back, in 2 formats - mp3 (broadband) and realplayer (diallup & 3g) - we decided to drop the broadband REAL stream now we are hosting on our own server,and don't have to pander to the whims of a bunch of *****, but we are keeping the low quality REAL stream, as it's the one most used by Smartfone and RECIEVA users..
* our own wiki is now testing (see site navigation box) and all members are welcome to add pages of nonsense for the amusement of others.. the system is NOT open to the public, so you must be a springboard member to use it. This means you are free to write and article on anything you like (within reason) in complete safety.
* IRC chat server is also testing, with a view to replacing the current flashchat chatroom. see the wikithing, and search for 'irc' for more on this. Non-registered members can use this too.. so invite your drunken friends in on saturday night for a go. IRC is a little deeper then FLASHCHAT, but it offers you the chance to set up your own chatrooms, which you may moderate and administer, and access them from all manner of devices, including mobile phone, 24-hours a day. The only restriction we have imposed is No file-transfer function is offered.
* we deleted nearly 100 accounts this week - people who have not confirmed their email addresses, going back about 2 years.. Now our MEMBERS count is more realistic.

and Your ever-messing Admin team added another chatroom option this weekend - one that does not use FLASH - all javascript.. It has the bad news of having GOOGLE ADS, which means google are watching what you type in it, but fu*k it, you can't have it ALL now can You?
