As from tonite (02/12/05) the new lineup on 2FM sees CONOR G move his G-Spot to Midnite Fridays, followed by THE LATE NIGHT SESSIONS RELOADED.

Springer Remains at 9 thru midnite saturdays, after THE ANNEX with Jenny Huston..

The LATE NIGHT SESSIONS remain 2-5am Saturday nite/sunday morning.

= 11 hours a week of electronic music/DJ sounds

i think the heads at rte think they need to change everything at random every other week... like marty wheelan in the morning..whats that about? He's not very good.. they have shane odonoghue at the moment.. leave that the same..

2fm during the week will never become cool if you're a dedicated dance head, but the wes darcy thing does destroy the flow of the dance vibe. one time i thought it was ubercool (6 to 6 days) the flow had a lot to do with it being so good.

well, at least there is still 11 hours a week of electronic sounds that's only 2 less then the 6-2-6 days in fairness.. (note: Repeats count as long as they aren`t in the same Week)

as for brekfast show - maybe if you were to do it from Australia, where it wouldn`t be so early in the morning, and they encourage drunken broadcasting..

I remember seeing him at a beat on the street thing when i was bout 14 or something, this owl lad busting shapes out of it blowing whistles..nuts...

But i duno there was something about his voice..?? I suppose the music was all new and fresh at that stage which added to him and his show..

I remember recording every second of it each saturday night with me tape deck, loved it,no interest in doing anything else..Magic..

I haven`t heard any of marty. In fact,. i never heard rick & ruth, tubridy, damo or dempsey either.. i did once have to drive to the airport early, and i heard the Prozac Crew on one of the dublin Biggies, and frankly, it scared me.

I have heard that if you actually get up early in the morning all the time, your brain adjusts and tells you it`s great. Wow. Now that really is scary.
