maybe its different strokes for different folks, but everything of yours ive heard sounds like it was made in 5 minutes

now i know theres minimal, but compare something like superfreak minimal to the stuff youre making... yours is just completely empty and bare, with no movement, groove or rhythm in particular

im not slating your tunes, and im not being nasty, im giving constructive critisism as someone making tunes for nearly 7 years, and a qualified sound engineer studying for his masters in music tech

Your not exactly sensational yourself dude, and i too am not being nasty just well bursting your bubble a bit which really needs deflating...

You can have as many certs as ya like, its still not gona make good music,

Please dont turn this into a "my balls are bigger than yours" thread, because il go toe to toe with ya...

Tanx anyway for your feedback, im up for constructive critisism but your pretty far out, all the certs in the world dont give you the right to talk the way you do bout other people...

If you really beleive in your music put your money where your mouth is and set up a label and put it out there, because it seems you beleive in yourself so go for it....

Im doing my best with it, ive fuck all money but im still taking the risk and spending any spare cash i have on putting my stuff out there, there is not exactly alot of profit in it, and if i saw anyone else in ireland spending there hard earned cash to put out their tracks wether they make the tracks the way i think they should be made or not fair play to them for taking the risk...

im giving you constructive critisism

put your tunes up on clubbing-ie.com and see how many people agree with me. coz everyone who listened to them that ive talked to says the same as me

taking risks? ive spent €11,000 this year on equipment

im not talking about you like anything mate, im giving you honest critisism. your tracks have about 6 elements, no effects, no mastering, no eqing, no decent phrasing, no solid arrangement, no modulations, no middle 8ths, no variations. sort that out and your tunes will straight away be a shedload better

youre the only one turning it into a "my balls are bigger than yours" thread, coz i never once mentioned any of my tunes, or anything of the sort. if i was going to id have done it long ago

youre the one who has an ego problem here. take a step back, LISTEN to your tunes, then listen to other minimal tunes and come back and tell me yours sound the same in terms of quality. any post ive made about your tunes has been suggesting ways to make them better, yet you take it as a personal offence

get back in your box, or stop posting tunes if you cant take constructive critisism

You don’t need to use loads of samples to make a cool track

So you have been producing for seven years, why don’t you release your music..?

If you can afford to spend 11,000 on equipment this year alone surely you can afford to press up some records, what are ya waiting for...

Its not all about having the best equipment etc its about making stuff that your happy with and that’s what ive done..

Of course im gona take offence when ya go on as if your the governing body of what a dance track should sound like...

look you posted the tune, i gave you my opinion

im not gonna change that

yes the tune is minimal, but it doesnt sound finished

theres far too much empty space that isnt being used, that could be employed. as i said have a listen to something like winks superfreak, listen to what he does within the confines of the mimimal genre, very few sounds, but everything thats there comfortably takes up enough of the audible spectrum for the track not to sound bare

why would i pay to press records? i make music coz i enjoy making music, to date ive only ever sent out one single demo of my work. getting released isnt what it was about for me

this year however ive set myself a target of 8 more releases. will i do it? who knows, who cares, ill have fun while im trying

how come youre not going on a mad one on the other people who said the track sounds bare, flat and dead?
