I dunno, I didnt think much of him till i saw him at godskitchen last march where I thought he was the best on the nite, he had the place bouncin all the time he was on.. maybe he was jus havin a good nite but i enjoyed him, i met him afterwards too an he was really sound.. Saying that I agree totally that he's notten special.. jus he has an is still playing a lot of d choons in ur playlist.. coburn, james zabiela, timo maas - first day, alloy mental.. jus thought u mite be into him..

I no wat ya mean Ricer man, ive mates who would say the exact same thing! He was in sligo a few years back apparently, i had no chance of gettin in bein about 14 at the time, they were sayin he was unreal, a fucken wonder kid! The last time he was in sligo was a few months ago, he was sound, gud mixin and that, and a couple of really nice techno stompers towards the end! I get what ur sayin tho, but I'll always have a time for Fergie boy....HAPPY DAYS

No - that's bollox. Yeah, he made his name playing hard house but then jumped ship to what was deemed to be cooler. Would he be making the money he is now if he was playing hard house? There's nothing ironic about it. I don't know what people you're referring to but maybe it's the random clubbers who don't know what they like? I don't know any true hard house fan who'd say they really like Fergie since he changed his sound. He was an underground hard house hero for years then got a taste for fame when HH was extremely popular around 2000, and decided he'd like more. Nearly every HH DJ and proper supporters of the scene would agree on this.
You know aswell as I do that he probably wouldn't even be on Radio 1 if he still played HH and therefore wouldn't get as much money or possibly as many gigs.Comment

Fergie was never really "underground" though....they liked to claim he was in magazines at the time but he wasnt....hard house needed a poster boy it could stick on the front of Mixmag..he was it
Theres no techno fan i know of that likes fergie...they like maybe a few of the tracks he plays but they dont like him.
I'd agree that most of his fans now are the "grown up" hard house types who think theyre out of all that now cos they like "Murder was the bass" & all that type of stuff.
He also plays techno like a trance DJ
Apparently from hard house inside sources he used to swing both ways back in the day too.....kinky
