So anyway.. Great fun last night at the TIVOLI for the IDMA.. Approx 300 Members of the Social-Group, nay, COMMUNITY that keeps Clubbing, Electronic & Black Music Alive in Ireland, mingled with Members of the Press and Plain-Clothes Members of The Gardai (it was the Tivoli After all..) for an actually VERY fun night! Slick-DJ definatly pulled off an entertaining and heartwarming night.. The MC was & IS a ledge (name???) and the bold-corner was extra bold, as usual, building forts out of the furniture, and 'de-bagging' unsuspecting people still in suits after work.. (you know who You are!!)

I'm sure Slick-Dj magazine will have more on it, and the rest in the next issue.. Also, YNTV were on the manor with the Inhebriated interviews after, and i saw RTE-PULSE also lurking about with the interview thing going on - so you cannot avoid more accurate accounts of the event, even if you try!
As for the award I collected for the radio show, it had a fantastic time on the table with the other awards, and has SWORN to ring the 'best producer' award to hook up for something eventually. The award was a bit ratty this morning, due to lack of sleep, but is now relaxing watching TV (see below), and is planning a bit of a polish, and some more standing on the shelf, before tomorrow when it will be starting a 3-month Tour of people's faces at 2FM...
Oh, and THANK YOU for voting.. I know technically You have to hate me and the show because RTE are involved and they (along with the ESB, Bord Gais, An Taoiseach, Ryanair and Robert Mugabee) are responsible for the Economic Downturn, and killing a kitten every 5 seconds to pay for Pat Kenny's solid-gold jax paper, but it was nice to win something like this - as chosen by people other then me & my 500 email adresses.. Wait, maybe this is all a cruel joke! (...runs to see if the award is still watching TV or has done a runner.. Yes it is.. All good..)
That is all.
