Well shams! I'm not dead! Missing in action for a bit, and after that was trying to get a new club night up and going in Sligo! Launch night went well in November! The Vengaboys were in the main room, myself and a couple of others in the second room bangin out techno haha!
Went great, feedback from people was all positive! But then the usual bullshit creeps in. The music brings drugs etc. How are you going to get the students? (I dunno, koka noodles and vodka) ..Nonsense!
So I'm taking it in a different direction! Don't want to give too much away, in case some local swine tries to do it first! But plenty coming in the next few months!

As for the club - you need to run a student night wednesdays, get a booze provider, rope in the student union ents. officer and enjoy. This will allow You to run a 'underground' friday night, and a more mature DISCO Saturday night with the approval of the venue.

Sad truth is, they only want to sell drink. They do not give a fuck about the music, and they never ever did or will.
