STARTING CLUB NIGHTS

as above, just wondering what is involved in doing this, say im a dj and i wanna get a club owner to agree to start a club night sat first sat of every month, and get other dj's from around the country down to play also and have 2 or 3 jocks on the night, what would i have to have prepared before i approach the manager of the club????? all info welcome and appreciated!

wat club in mallow are u interested in approaching? as i live near mallow i wudnt mind joining ya on some nite, wud like to show mallow some decent dance music

well atart off in the hi - land or sg-1 cos there is nothing like that in those clubs and i know from personal experience and info that it would work! maybe next year get 2 or 5 dj's to tour the country! just an idea but it would be cool like! kinda like a sessions tour. the reason i say 2 or 5 is leave room for a 3rd or a 6th dj to be a guest, if we had a 6 dj nite it would be ideal to have 2 guest dj's

ya I think that would be good in so many ways, there is a real need for somethin like that down the south, there isnt much bar Waterford! I think you should jus get in contact with the clubs etc!!

my friend that ownes beta systems was doin a lot of this when the sg-1 first opened, thats why for the first year it was all judge jules, yomanda, fragma, john cechini, pete thong, billy nasty....... then there was nothing for about another year and mr spring played and that was july 2003 and since then only billy nasty has been there...... shame really, its a waste of a massive club! and its structurely an amzing club also!
