Voyager 1 Parts

Ok, as i am now officially offering the mixes of VOYAGER for sale on the interwebz, (see here ) i thought it might be nice to release some of the parts used, so you can continue the story..

There are also parts used for the 1.6x remixes (the officially released version) common to LETS SKATE - find them in the 2nd file here..

And here is the midi file.. remember, some of the tracks will contain a mixture of garbage and musical notes - it's up to you to make what you can of it all.. The Garbage data could have been used to trigger samples, drive CV or GATE devices etc., and the actual note values may have no actual MUSICAL meaning.. So, have fun!

Just remember to import the .mid file, then solo each track and send it to something simple like a piano sound to work out what the fcuk it is!!!

Meaning to post this for ages - a photocopy of the tape cover from the in-house preview of the DJ promo cuts for VOYAGER 1.. Notes in biro from Jules (i think)..

Note the 'lost' remixes? Klubbheads' mixes - that were the 2nd set, as the first set were rejected, the PETE WARDMAN mix of BREAK IT and the Dex & Jonsey mix of Voyager?? i DON'T EVEN HAVE COPIES OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!

It's needs to be said, the 'NO' didn't mean the track was crap, the idea was to reduce the costs by doing only 1 piece of vinyl, instead of the planned Double-pack you see here.. so they had to lose 4 tracks..

Sad, but true..
