A slight Lurk has them on eBay for $250, but at http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=777 for 155euro, or from the manufacturers here : http://www.acube-systems.biz/index.p...hardware&pid=3 for 129euro + shipping - this gives a massive 2MB Ram, joystick ports, PS2 mouse/Keyboard and VGA ports etc..
Now, the tiebreaker: DOES IT RUN TURRICAN?
http://www.opencircuits.com/Minimig_..._compatibility is the list of compatible software so far - i see TURRICAN 2 DOES work fine, and an alternate version of the hardware here: http://web.comhem.se/illuwatar/proje...ig/minimig.htm apparently plays Turrican well - so, 50/50..
Ok, how about Tracker programmes? Protracker apparently starts.. i wonder how it's timing is?
Anyway.. it seems the big fail on this so far is no read/write - i presume only file reading is possible.. but hey - it's still a fuc*ing AMIGA innit?
Also: now maybe we can get some use from the AMIGA FOREVER Clonoa stuff we all have somewhere, as apparently the officially licenced Kickstart Rom included in the Clonoa package will work on this Hardware, and is actually required..
