Yup.. The Bratcave has been Micro$oft-free since Late April 2007.
Sure, we have had Lunix here since SuSE 9.2, on the server and blah, but Poxy Microsoft always crept in somewhere on a desktop, fagging up the script..
Now: Mandriva/Mandrake 10.x Official on the server, and Mandriva 2007.1 on desktops (running Drak 3d for extra added meowwww) for the lads, and OS-X 10.3 & 10.4 for the Girls..
If YOU have a nVidia Grafix Card, or Decent ATi Grafix Card, you NEEEEED to try Mandriva - Try it for free at http://ftp.esat.net/pub/linux/mandra...icial/iso/One/ - this is a single-disk bootable version as a taster, download the .iso you like the look of, burn it to a cd or dvd (depending) and boot your PC with it in the drive.. Then, when you love it lots, visit http://ftp.esat.net/pub/linux/mandra.../official/iso/ and choose the correct iso for a full-on install..
